DESIGN&BUILT SERVICES
All design and construction services completed for a 350m2 office project with the concept of creating a comfortable workspace resembling a home environment. Soft pastel tones and curved forms were used to achieve this design goal. As the office area was unfinished, Elif Arslan Interiors designed and built all necessary elements including mechanical and electrical systems, walls, suspended ceilings, acoustic systems, lighting systems, and raised floorings. The office layout consists of three main areas: Administrative, Open Office, and Service areas. Unlike contemporary open offices, this office was designed to be semi-traditional to suit the working system in place. Key features of the office include a reception desk with decton + lacquered wall covering displaying the company logo in blue, coordinated with blue leather armchairs in the waiting area. Each room in the administrative section includes a WC, with interconnected rooms through the central waiting area. Linear lighting fixtures in the entry corridor emphasize its length. The Open Office area includes a kitchenette, a lounge area designed to create a homely atmosphere, and three glass-partitioned rooms for transparency and visual communication. The kitchen area is equipped with a robust mechanical system for smell insulation, with a meeting room adjacent for lunch purposes. Acoustics played a crucial role in providing sound barriers for each area. Suspended ceiling designs were mirrored in the carpeting, and decorative paint was used cost-effectively on walls alongside wallpaper. The project successfully aimed to create a functional and peaceful office space, resulting in satisfaction among the users upon project completion.
